Sony DCR-SR220E
Sony DCR-SR220E
Positioned as an upper-tier standard-definition camcorder in 2008, the Sony DCR-SR220E was built for videographers who demanded premium optical performance within an SD workflow. Backed by a generous 60GB internal hard drive, it stores up to 40 hours of footage with quick USB drag-and-drop file transfers.
What sets the SR220E apart is its pro-grade Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens with a versatile 15x optical zoom range, paired with a 4.0-megapixel ClearVid CMOS sensor that delivers remarkably clean colors and contrast. A sharp 2.7-inch touchscreen, Super SteadyShot stabilization, and trademark Super NightShot infrared capabilities round out a very capable package. It’s an outstanding pick for lo-fi filmmakers and content creators who want the distinctive early-digital SD aesthetic supported by top-shelf optics.
All cameras are meticulously tested 3 times before being put up for sale. A 4th and final testing will be done prior to shipping out.
