Sony DCR-SR100E
Arriving in 2006, the Sony DCR-SR100E is a premium standard-definition Handycam that marries the rich look of mid-2000s CCD video with the convenience of a built-in 30GB hard drive. You get the unmistakable, warm lo-fi charm of vintage home movies without the hassle of rewinding MiniDV tapes.
It features a relatively large 1/3-inch 3.0-megapixel CCD sensor paired with top-tier Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* glass offering 10x optical zoom. A swiveling 2.7-inch touchscreen makes creative framing effortless, while Sony’s legendary Super NightShot Plus gives you authentic green-tinted night-vision filming. Ideal for music video directors, skate filmmakers, and retro aesthetic enthusiasts who want authentic early-2000s video texture straight to digital storage.
All cameras are meticulously tested 3 times before being put up for sale. A 4th and final testing will be done prior to shipping out.
