Released in 2007, the Sony HDR-CX7 represents a major milestone as Sony’s first flash-memory-based AVCHD camcorder. By ditching spinning hard drives and delicate tapes for solid-state Memory Stick storage, it created an ultra-compact, rugged handheld that can easily handle fast-paced action and rough everyday handling.
